I am available to hire as a research assistant. I have over six years experience conducting a PhD, working as a freelance research assistant, and teaching research skills to undergraduates. I can assist at any stage of the research project, including:
Literature reviews
Qualitative research design
Conducting online interviews
Cataloguing secondary data
As part of the wider NHS at 70 project, I worked producing accurate and concise summaries of audio interviews. Summaries were later archived in the British Library, and therefore had to adhere to strict formatting guidelines.
I was the sole transcriber for a piece of research, Still a Mam, which sought to understand the experiences of women who had experience of child removal. All interviews were transcribed verbatim.
I worked as a medical clerk, where I transcribed patient notes and department meetings minutes. As such, I have an excellent awareness of medical language, and pay close attention to accurately transcribing details such as drug names, medical conditions and hospital procedures.
